Not Me | Synopsis

“Not Me” is one of those shows that starts off wild and keeps you guessing. It follows identical twins, Black and White, both played by Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat (Gun). When Black ends up in a coma after being attacked, White decides to pretend to be him to find out who did it. The problem is — he knows nothing about Black’s world, which is a rebellious gang with its own politics, danger, and unspoken loyalties.
White has to learn fast how to survive while pretending to be someone he’s not, especially when he starts getting close to Sean, played by Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn (Off) — Black’s intense and mysterious friend who doesn’t trust easily. There’s a lot of chaos, some political undertones, and a story that’s really about justice, identity, and connection.
The series title “Not Me” plays on the fact that White is not himself when his is impersonating Black.
Character Review
Black and White

Sean

While the main roles are played by Gun Atthaphan Phunsawat (Gun) and Off Jumpol Adulkittiporn (Off) as Black, White, and Sean, the supporting characters are members of Black’s gang.

The familiar actor that I’ve seen in other things is First Kanaphan Puitrakul (First), and he sort of makes up the second love duo in the series, which is surprising because he doesn’t play with his usual acting partner this time. So, he falls in love with a police officer — which is definitely against gang policies. Everyone’s kind of on edge trying to see if the police officer is really for them or not.
He’s an artist and wants his thoughts, his political agenda, to be viewed through the art that he creates. It’s a subtle storyline, but it adds more meaning to the show — like a quiet reminder that rebellion doesn’t always look like fire and fists; sometimes it’s just someone brave enough to paint their truth.

Gun does such a good job playing both twins that you genuinely forget it’s the same person. Black’s got this sharp, heavy energy, while White feels softer, more cautious, but determined. You can see White trying to understand his brother and his world, and that struggle really carries the show.
Off, as Sean, brings that intensity that pulls you in — you can feel everything he’s not saying. He’s got this strong presence, but when it comes to White, that tension shifts into something deeper. Their chemistry builds in this slow, emotional way that keeps you invested
Level of Spiciness

I’d say it’s around 2 out of 5 flames — not super spicy, but it’s got that slow-burn heat. The kind where the chemistry and tension say more than any scene could. It’s emotional intimacy over physical — and it works for the tone of the show.
Spicy Rating: 🔥🔥🔥
Overall Thoughts
“Not Me” isn’t just a BL romance — it’s political, raw, and full of meaning. It’s about identity, rebellion, and finding out who you are when everything around you is uncertain. The chemistry between Gun and Off holds the heart of the story, but the supporting cast gives it real dimension.
The art, the activism, the love — everything blends together into something bigger than just romance. It’s messy in a way that feels real, and that’s what makes it stick.
Overall Rating : 10/10 would recommend; I have already rewatched this series three times.
